Inspired by an unimaginable cold... aka the dreaded Alaskan Winter! The thought is if a Coma Inducer® is made plush enough, thick enough, and cozy enough to handle the frigid temperatures of an Alaskan Winter, then surely it can be more than enough for all of us that face a normal cold winter. It can seem unimaginable that places like Barrow, Alaska get as low as -56° F, but it happened in 1924! The goal of our Alaskan Winters Coma Inducer® is to make sure the cold feeling of winter never disrupts your warm and cozy sleep. Made with 420 GSM, this ultra soft faux fur plush will give you the feeling that maybe you can and should lower your thermostat by 10 degrees... heck, maybe 20 degrees because you won't feel the cooling air once you are cozied up under this Coma Inducer®. If the thick wavy plush isn't comfy enough, our Alaskan Winters® reverses to our Bare Bottom® material which prevents overheating and provides a smooth, almost silky peach fuzz softness. Combining the wild with the tame, it's no wonder how the Alaskan Winters Coma Inducer® got its name.

If you live somewhere that gets really cold, like really, really cold, it only makes sense that you need an extra large King comforter that’s really warm… like really, really warm! In fact, for those areas that experience arctic-level winters, basic King bedding may keep you just barely warm enough to sleep through the night. Thankfully, our designer bedding brand takes warm and cozy King oversized comforters seriously. Founded in Buffalo, NY, Byourbed was originally founded with the goal of creating a thick King extra large bedspread warm enough to help save on heating costs during the frigid winter months. And since then, we have created a number of extra cozy King XL winter bedding essentials that are idea for surviving Buffalo blizzards. However, Alaskan Winters® are a whole new level of cold, that require a whole new level of oversized King bedding warmth. Enter the Alaskan Winters® - Coma Inducer® Oversized King Comforter - Chiseled Stone!

This extra large King bedding essential is crafted based on the standards of layering for cold weather. We’ll break it down for you: when you live somewhere like Alaska or Buffalo, that sweater from Grandma might be a nice touch, but you will require layers both underneath and on top to actually stay warm. Your first layer should be lightweight and breathable to prevent sweating–which actually makes you colder in the long run. Then most cold weather experts suggest a second warm layer for insulation. Finally, you need a top layer to seal it all in, like your heaviest winter coat. This winter King oversized bedding comforter is designed the same way! The first layer of silky spandex-infused Bare Bottom® fabric helps regulate your body temperature and adds a buttery soft touch to this gray King extra large comforter. The top layer of this oversized King winter comforter features dense, fluffy plush that embodies an irresistible coziness like your favorite fur winter coat. These two high quality bedding materials encase a thicker than average inner fill, providing must-have insulation that will make you wonder how you settled for basic King bedding before. Experience Coma Worthy Sleep® all winter long with this oversized King luxury comforter.

Byourbed bedding can be washed on a gentle, cold cycle. Do not use bleach or pour detergent directly on your bedding, and wash alone. It is best to hang dry if possible, if not, use no heat or a low heat setting. Ensure that the machine is large enough to accommodate. (Important that your bedding can tumble in the dryer rather than staying in one location the entire cycle)
